Ninety-four rooms in one limestone building on the water at Spinola Bay. Nine floors, two wings, and a terrace that runs the whole seaward side.

Ninety-four rooms and suites, every one of them facing the water. Pale oak, linen and stone, with a balcony wide enough to eat breakfast on.

Dining
Three kitchens, one of them on the roof. Fish comes off the boats at Marsaxlokk; the bread and the ice cream are made downstairs.
Spinola
The seafront restaurant. Whole fish, grilled over charcoal, carved at the table. Twelve tables on the terrace, booked well ahead in summer.
The Roof
Cocktails, small plates and the best view of the bay going dark. Open to residents and their guests.
Marina
Breakfast until eleven, then coffee, salads and pasta through the afternoon. The room fills with light from the arched windows.
Wellness
Pool & Spa
An infinity pool that finishes where the sea begins, open from seven in the morning. Below it, a spa with a hammam, two treatment rooms and a small gym that looks out at the water.

Room for
the occasion
The Bay Room seats 180 for a conference or 120 for dinner, with daylight down one whole side and blackout when you need it. Two smaller rooms take 40 each. Weddings take the terrace and the pool deck together.

The gaming room
Six hundred square metres on the lower ground floor, panelled in dark oak and kept deliberately quiet — about the footprint of the ballroom above it. Eight tables, sixty machines, a poker room and one private salon. It is a facility for resident guests, not the reason to come.
Table games
French and American roulette, blackjack and punto banco, dealt by croupiers who have worked this room for years.
Machines
Along the north wall, where the daylight comes in. Denominations and rules are marked on every machine.
Poker room
A separate room behind glass, so the noise of the floor stays out of it. Seats are taken at the desk on the night.
The Salon
A single private room off the main floor, booked in advance through the duty manager.
Private gaming
Something

The Salon sits behind its own door, with its own bar and its own croupier. One table, up to six people, and nobody walking past. It is arranged in advance through the duty manager, who will go through the table minimums and the house rules with you before the night.

How the
room works
- Hours
- Machines from 10:00. Tables from 20:00 until late, seven days a week.
- Entry
- Guests aged 18 and over. Photo identification is required at the door and may be asked for again inside.
- Dress
- Smart dress after 20:00. No beachwear, no sportswear.
- Inside
- No photography or filming. Phones stay off the tables.
- Admission
- Staff may refuse entry, or ask a guest to leave, at their discretion and without giving a reason.
